We stayed at the Cerano for one night in November 2009. They have triple rooms, which are sometimes hard to find in Europe, and all the rooms we saw were quite spacious. Very helpful with bags. Mineral water in the room... As well as face clothes... Which was a plus... Breakfast had lots of choices... Which tasted great... I would come back here again... more
The hotel is in the city center, is less than a 1 minute walk from a U-bahn station "appelhof platz " and very close to the Dom and Hauptbahnhof. The room was very cleen and the breakfast was of an excellent quality. more
We would have no problems staying here again. The bathroom is tiny. There are no towel rails. The room is small and reminds me of comfortable budget rooms in Paris, except this is square, has high ceilings and was spotless. The elevator is small. A perfect location. The sights, shops, restaurants and bars were all within a short walking distance. Our room was spacious and very clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good and served until 11.00 a.m. We can recommend this hotel to all visitors to Koln. more
This hotel was dirt cheap, off the main drag but only a 10-15 minute walk away from the train station. It had a lovely reception with very friendly staff and the breakfast was amazing. Modestly sized hotel located only a brief walk from train station, but far enough away from the tourist zone. On the edge of hip shopping area. Staff is very professional, most helpful. Breakfast is pleasant, German newspapers are provided. Not a bad place to decamp for the business traveller on a budget. more
