Can't go wrong for money (about £50), even breakfast was excellent. Take earplugs - noisy location even though room was double-glazed with secondary DOUBLE glazing! Hotel rooms and bedding stink of smoke. Telly and shower is from the 1970's and its next to a noisy road and train station. You cant just sit in your room for any time as its depressing !

This hotel is not the most beautiful hotel on earth, that's a fact... But the location (5 minutes walking from the station and the Dome) is excellent. Expected this to be ok - but it was terrible. Room hideuosly noisy. Hotel overlooks the busiest road in Cologne and has dirty curtains. Tried to change the room, but the manager - a very small Turkish man - came across as rather arrogant - obviously something to prove. Better hotel across the road in the Appartel Am Dom.
