Modern design, large room, free wifi Internet, great breakfast buffet. It is located reasonable close to the railway station, old town, and the dome, If you have functional limitation it can be a bit hard, since there is some steps here and there. The whole stay was a joy for us! more

My room was in the back part of the hotel (above the conference rooms). The room was very large and so was the bathroom. Good facilities: proper shower cubicle, large flat screen TV, air conditioning etc. The room was overlooking the main road, but with the double glazing this was no problem at all. Very close to the City , Station and restaurants. I had an adequate single room with bathroom. Drains did smell a little ! Wind was in the wrong direction and being on the front of the hotel every station announcement during the night could be clearly heard ! 8 of us went to Hotel Cristall, good location, great for markets etc. The hotel was ok, but no coffee or tea facilities in room or hotel after breakfast. Could not even get lemonade in the hotel bar , and told, we English only come once a year and that Germans don`t drink lemonade, so one of us stopped drinking... more

Hotel close to train station & cathedral. Room stank terribly of stale smoke so try to get a non smoking room if you are a non smoker. Rooms clean & well maintained. Decor dated & tacky. Breakfast large. Service indifferent. Not the greatest value. more

Stayed at hotel Cristall with friends (booked 2 rooms) in december. The hotel is okay and very central, indeed. Rather good breakfast buffet, the rooms are small, but with all the essentials and original design. However, not so sure about the cleanliness of the hotel. Won't go into detai but l didn't get the impression the rooms were properly cleaned. more

We stayed for 3 nights in December 2007 for the Christmas markets and the location is excellent. The Hotel staff were very friendly and our room (101) was clean and very comfortable, plenty of hot water and cleaned daily. Breakfast was of good quality with lots to choose from. more
