We've stayed at the Hyatt Cologne many times. We were thrilled this time to get a view with a wonderful view of the water and the Cologne Cathedral. The hotel is a short walk from the train stations and to the city center, making it very convenient, yet far enough away to be peaceful. more

Was on business to Cologne, due to the non availability at my scheduled hotel -Novotel, was put up for one night at the Hyatt Regency. A nice hotel overlooking the river Rhine. Stayed at the HR for nearly a week for both business and pleasure. Location is just across the Rhine with stunning views back towards the old town and Cathederal. Hotel is nicely kept and very clean. Stayed for 2 nights and it was a great experience, we also had dinner at their main restaurant and it was incredible, best food so far in Germany. Arrive early and you may get to park directly outside the hotel for free (tip for the doorman), otherwise you will have to pay for the underground car park. Request a view of the Cologne Cathedral, not just a Rhine view as there are side rooms with restricted view of the river and rear rooms facing a dull court yard.... more

We located the hotel with ease. Not disappointed with the Hotel. A bit of a mix up when we were checking in but not a problem. Rooms very clean bathrooms spotless. Beds very comfortable. Had a wonderful room over looking the Rhine and the Dom - beautiful at night when it is all lit up. more

Location is perfect! And we have got upgrade to the room with beautiful view over the river and Cologne Dom! more
