Business travelling is not always what it seems - countless hotels, same food, same rooms no matter what country you are, however the last time I had to be in the Cologne Area of Germany I stayed at the Fladerhof. I have been to the Falderhof many times from 1991 through 1998. It is absolutely a charming and beautiful place to stay in the heart of the city. It is actually an old dairy farm that has been totally gutted and transformed into an up-to-date and exquisite small hotel. We cherish each time we've stayed there and are looking forward... more
