Very close to the train station and can walk just about everywhere you would want to go. Basic room but clean and ready before normal check in time. We stayed for one night at Star am Dom hotel the first week of January and we've been very disappointed by the rooms: the standard double bed room was small, carpets were dirty, the bed made of 2 single beds put together and the toilet in the bathroom is almost inaccessible if you are 5'6" or more... Last minute booking to go to Christmas market and we were not disappointed! Easy walk ( about 5-7 mins) from station and Dom, so very convenient location. Very helpful staff, lovely double room at back of the hotel with very clean bathroom. Excellent choices for breakfast. Able to store luggage on the day that we left which was very useful.... More

A five minute walk from the main train station and the Dom. Single room was tiny but clean, newly renovated bathroom and a big TV for a rainy day. Friendly staff speaking very good English. I would recommend this hotel, great value for money

The location is perfect to visit the Cologne Cathedral, only a few minutes walk. Our room was on the first floor. It was spacious, but face to a big street. So it kind of noisy in the morning. The breakfast was very nice. Thy provide hot stuff, like scrambled egg and sausages. The parking need 5 minutes walk.

The location Is good, walkable to cathedral and train station but the room wasn't cleaned and the maid didn't cleaned the room properly each day that we stayed there. And she has changed our bed sheets once since we checked in and we stayed there about 8 nights. I understand it's 3 stars but I didn't expected 1 stars service... More
