The Hotel Konigshof is just a stone's throw from the cathedral, and close to central shopping streets, restaurants, the Old Town, the station, the Rhine and museums. It is very 80's but very clean, comfortable and friendly. One plus is that the rooms have nice deep baths (with showers over) - great for a soak after tramping around the shops!... more

I booked this hotel through the tourist information and while I got a good price for this very centrally located hotel, I wouldn't particulary recommend it. I had a room at the back and the noise of the air conditioner (or something) dominated day and night. Early evening the smell of the fryers in some resturant kitchen somewhere did not... more
