I stopped here during a business trip. The room was basic - the bed comfortable the bathroom very nice (possibly recently renovated). The restaurant (I ate al fresco) was superb! Underneath well manicured trees in the Italian fashion. The beer (many of Kolch) are very nice - try some!

The hotel is much larger than it appears, there are 120 rooms. The hotel was clean and well kept, reception staff were friendly and keen to please. The best thing about Hotel zur Quelle is that it is the one "good" hotel that is close to the DLR (German Aerospace), the European Astronaut Centre and the Bundeswehr. It is a very nice hotel with excellent breakfasts. There are some recently renovated rooms which are "nicer" than the non-renovated rooms. Internet, fitness area, sauna etc are all available.... This was an excellent Hotel. They helped with directions when we took the wrong exit and there restraunt was open at 22:00 when we arrived late. The room was neat, clean and modern - but no airconditioner like many european hotels. The desk clerks spoke excellent english and were very helpful and the breakfast included with the room was excellent.
