Stayed 2 nights in December primarily to visit the Christmas markets in Dortmund and nearby Essen. The hotel was very easy to find and check-in very efficient with good english spoken. Car parking arrangements were a little sketchy - we found a space right outside the hotel but were told that we could not park there due to fire regulations... More

Don't be put off by the location. It is not in the centre but UBahn is excellent with normal German efficiciency.
