The Holiday-inn had a very good location just next to the city center and shopping malls. We stayed in a family room which was quite spacious but the room smelled horrible of earlier smoking guests! This could be a great hotel - excellent friendly service, good location, wonderful breakfast and nice rooms (some amenities like proper shampoo, etc are missing though)... BUT The sound proofness of the rooms is extremely poor - it was so noisy that it was impossible to get any sleep throughout the night. Very good hotel on the end of the Konigsallee in the middle of the city centre. Good clean rooms with wide beds with boxsprings. Breakfast was very good with f.e. salmon and Champagne, oops it was Sekt but it bubbles nice. Very much choice of food. City transportation stops in front of the hotel. Rooms are noise free. more
