Booked through Expedia in January for a one night stay in June. Faxed and e-mailed the hotel over a period of time for late arrival details but got no answer. When we telephoned they said they had no reservation for us but had rooms available and would book us in. We asked for a confirmation by fax or e-mail. This... more

This is an extraordinary hotel located in a residential part of Düsseldorf close to the Rhine (its still only 5 minutes from the city centre and a great walk along the river). It only has twenty or so rooms, but each one is individually designed and decorated Laura Ashley style, with antiques and paintings. The owner is an eccentric anglophile... more
