We stayed for three nights at the VIP Düsseldorf, and it was what we expected; the rooms were clean, the beds ok (the pillows not what I like as they were too big and there was too little stuffing), the staff helpful and the location ok. The passes that gave you access to all public transport were really a steal... more

Nice quiet hotel not far from the Königsallee, the shopping street in Germany. Clean good sized rooms, only set back - no hair dryer in the bathroom. Breakfast has a good choice, I recommend bringing tea bags though, as all they had was green tea and herbal teas. The hotel sells travel passes, covering all public transport in the Ruhr... more

My Mum, sister and I spent 4 days at VIP Dusseldorf (during the World Cup)and we had a FABULOUS Room! The most comfortable beds (& pillows!!) and a fantastic roomy bathroom with power shower (could have lived in it!). We hadn't counted on their being so many steps to our room & no elevator but nearing the end of our... more
