Our stay at Schnelling was so relaxed. It is situated in a rural position to the north of Duisburg in the district (or near to) Marxloh. The hotel is quiet but close to Hamborn with it's shops and wonderful parks. The room we stayed in (no. 3) was big with a large double bed, television with a choice of stations (German), comfortable chairs, a mini bar and well furnished and decorated. It may be felt to be a bit dated but this only added to it's charm. The en-suite bathroom was indeed vast containing all the usual amenities as well as a short staircase to an outside balcony. The lady in charge was a really pleasant person whose only desire was to make your stay as nice as possible. Breakfast was served in the Breakfast room (Fruhstuckraume (sorry no umlauts)) and consisted of a variety of cold meats, sausages, cheeses, bread, eggs (by order), cereals, fruit juices and much coffee or tea.
