The Mercure is on a fairly busy corner next to an elderly residence home. The staff are pleasant, though their English was at times poor. A quiet part of the City, 15 minutes walk from the central station, 5 minutes from tube / tram. Virually next door to the superb Folkwang Museum. Ideal for business or simply just a very pleasant stay.

Clean, Comfortable and friendly hotel. Ticks most of the boxes required for business trip. Have to pay for WiFi. Bar fine but limited food in the evening but plenty of good resturants within walking distance. Good selection of hot and cold breakfast.
