We stayed at this hotel near the train station because we were visiting family we didn't want to burden with our stay there. It was a nice hotel with a friendly atmosphere, despite being in very close proximity to the (not very charming) Hauptbahnhof (train station). On the other side, however, is the 'promenade', which is nice.
Obviously the hotel is also easy to reach with public transport.

The interior design was simple, but rather elegant, even though the colours in the breakfast hall would not have been my first choice. The rooms were not very big, but fine and we felt very welcome there. There was no one looking over our shoulders when my boyfriend walked up to my (single) room with me to say goodbye and all in all I ended up regretting not having stayed there longer. more
