I stayed at this hotel for two nights and thought it was a nice property with a very friendly staff. The rooms are comfortable although offer nothing special. The breakfast was typical German. Beautiful family owned hotel with the feel of a quaint bed and breakfast. From snuggling down into the fluffy duvet to endulging in a robust coffee in the morning, it is everything an "away from home" stay should be. more

When we lived in Bavaria and had business in the K-town area we always stayed at the Schattner. The owners are kind people who would do anything they could to assist. English is spoken by all generations. The rooms are comfortable and charmingly decorated. TV includes AFN and CNN International. Bathrooms are modern and have hairdriers.
