This hotel is located right in the heart of Koblenz. I stayed there during the World Cup and paid only 39 Euros for a one night stay. Private bedroom had a sink and bathroom was on another floor. The heart of a hotel is more than its structure, it's the people who run it. This is an older hotel just a 3-minute walk from the main train station. After checking a few of the "in town" "charming" hotels in Koblenz, i found the Hotel National on Roonstrasse by the train station. I walked in, tired from a day of driving and met Horst and Dee, the owners who immediately made me feel at home. The rooms were spotless and the prices were well under anywhere else in town.... more
