We had a very enjoyable 2 nights at Nells Park last weekend. I'd agree with the previous favourable comments about the excellent food, friendly English speaking staff, and comfortable rooms. We had a hire car,so it was easy to get into the city centre, but it would be a bit of a hike on foot. Would definitely recommend the hotel. more

The only reason that I give this a 4 is that it was under construction while we were there. Though they were courtious enought not to start working on the building till around 8. Absolutely fantastic hotel, the staff are very helpful and go the extra mile to make sure everything is ok. The rooms are all individual, slightly different sizes, layouts and decoration. Breakfast, room, service, and decor were all good. Construction in front of hotel made parking difficult. Garden and lake close, but dirty. 30 minute walk into city center. Would have wanted to stay closer for longer stay. more

We recently spent 2 nights at Nell's Park. Previous coments re location, adjacent park, etc are right on. The resturant was excellent, creative menue, reasonable prices. We stayed only one night in February at the Nells Park Hotel in Trier. It is located in a quiet area of the city, right next to a very large park. Behind the hotel, they have a pond with swans, a walking path and a playground. Evidently, the park is full of flowers in the summer. The hotel was clean.... more
