Family run hotel near the main sights in Trier. A solid three star hotel, very clean, well maintained, everything works well. Found the staff very friendly and helpful. This was my second stay at the Paulin - the first had been a result of a booking mix-up with another hotel, but turned out to be very fortunate. This is a very pleasant hotel with plenty of facilities, an excellent breakfast buffet, friendly service and a convenient situation just outside the Porta Nigra.
