We had a car so drove to the hotel and then caught the tram into the city and back. The tram runs directly out the front of the hotel so much more convient than driving into the city and paying city prices for accommodation and parking.

This is a very clean hotel and the rooms are comfortable and nicely furnished. The Internet connection is good. Slightly out of the town core, but on a direct tram route that will get you there in under 20 minutes. A clean, functional hotel without any distinguishing features to give it character.

This is a good hotel for a short trip to Dresden, but you should request a room on the rear side. For the first night we got a room pointing towards the street which was very noisy.
