We stayed at this hotel because it was only 2 blocks away from our friends' apartment. They booked it for us. Face it, the Ramada Resident Hotel is a big-box hotel that caters to large busloads of foreign tourists (2-3 busses park out front every night). There isn't anything "charming" or old-world about it.
