All in all this is not a bad place to stay. I had a single room for three days in September paying Euro40 per night via Hotels.de, and it was a clean comfortable, basic room. The first one (102) had a defective toilet, but to give the hotel credit they had moved me to another room (107) by the time I came back on the first night. This new room was on the side of the hotel and had a shower, not a bath, but none of this mattered to me. If you like air conditioning then this isn't the place for you, and high summer might be very warm. On the side of the hotel you can definitely hear the trams that run down the main road if you have the window open. The TV was a fairly basic selection of German channels, but again this is not an issue for me. The reception staff were friendly and helpful, but their grasp of English is at the same level as my grasp of German!
