Just returned from a 4 night stay at the Herrenkrug Parkhotel. The hotel is like an old manor house located in a forest and quite out of the city center. We had a great time in this modern appointed but 100 year old hotel. The hotel was very quiet but really nice. THe pool and spa is as nice as any 5 star hotel. THe location is on the River Elba as part of a very large park setting. The restaurant and bar were great and the prices were reasonable.... more

Excellent hotel. Located in a nice park surrounding. Golf course and horse race course next to the hotel. Very nice rooms in perfect order. Probably one of the best restaurants in town is in this hotel. more
