Our Lutheran Tour Group stayed one night at this historic facility on August 14, 2007. We had an evening meal and breakfast there and both were very good. The Tour Guide asked us not to take all our luggage as the rooms might be small so we left our large luggage on the bus. We had a sleeping room, a 2nd room between that held a desk and a suitcase rack and an adequate bathroom with a shower. It was very plain, but new and very comfortable. No air conditioning, but slept fine in twin beds in August with the window open. Coming from the USA (Midwest) we were surprised to not see screens on the windows, but saw very few flies or mosquitoes in Germany.
Had some wonderful apple kuchen in the gift shop that the Lutheran Nuns run. We also attended their service of music in the morning at 7 a.m.
The only negative was the fact that we were not furnished soap in the bathroom, but were able to purchase bath gel at the front desk for 1 Euro. Guess that it might be a...
