We liked the Mariano for all the wrong reasons. I find rubbish facilities like failing lights and dodgy lefts hilarious. The staff spoke no English, but did their best, and the bar was spartan but cheap. The place charged 50e which is really cheap, but has free parking. This hotel is dated. Mouldy bathroom, no Internet access. No AC. Very noisy. No telephone nor alarm clock services.

Overall, this was a disappointing experience. While the hotel was clean, and the staff fairly pleasant, the rest of our stay was pretty bad. One of the biggest problems was lighting in the hallways. The lights were controlled by timed switches located at periodic spots in the hallways and stairwells. The worst was the garage, which followed the same format.... More
