Nice, cozy, friendly, safe, family run. You need not more. Bed was a bit to soft but that is a question of preference I guess. Also the shower curtain was to short so the water went all over the bathroom floor, but they gave me extra towels to solve this problem. Maybe they should hang a longer curtain and save... More

Stayed one night at the Hostal la Fuente. It is a beautiful place with small-but decent rooms (good bed, good bathroom). Location is amazing, just steps away of the main sights of the city. Tip - from the train station take bus #3 and get down in San Fernando stop. It will leave you 20 steps away from the hostel.

We stayed in the apartments, which are just over the slightly busy road from the hostel. They were comfortable and well equipped. Unusually for self-catering accommodation there was daily maid service with even some toiletries provided. We had breakfast at the hostal at around 3-4 euros which was cheap and freshly served. The staff were very helpful when on our... More

A pleasant surprise to find across the street from the hostal up a set of stairs a spacious apartment. A small fully equiped kitchen added to the convenience. Everything worked well and the place was spotless. The staff are a bit of a mixed bag, mostly very helpful, language problems complicated some transactions. Walking distance to all the sights and... As with other travellers found the language barrier with staff problematic, and they did seem a little off hand. The apartments across the road from the main hotel are newly built to a high standard, offering large modern hotel room standard accommodation with a small kitchen area where snacks and meals can be prepared. The hotel also offers continental breakfast... More

Attractive courtyard and great location but quite noisy. The reception staff are not very welcoming and barely spoke a word of English (a bit sad i think when you are working with tourists from all over the world). The room was cold with no possibility to get the AC working. There was mysterious brown marks on the bed sheet. The... More

This was more like a basic hotel. It was the cheapest place we could find for a twin room. It was really clean and had character. I would definitely stay there again. It is also a close walk to the old town, and the street it is on is lined with orange trees.

We stayed in one of their apartments for 5 nights. The rooms were excellent and the location was amazing. The wifi was fast but did cut out several times during our stay. The staff communication needs some major improvement. When we made our booking we incorrectly entered the arrival date. After 6 emails and several phone calls we were unable... More

An affordable hotel. Nice courtyard. Breakfast was very limited - traditional Spanish only. Loads of stairs, room we had was generous. Great central location. Friendly staff. The night we stayed the army were staying. They were very noisy and kept us awake due to their partying in the room above and next to us.
