What a nice small hotel in Cordoba! We loved the style, location and warm service. It actually felt like there should be a beach right down the block. Small basic rooms rooms, elevator, nice casual restaurant in house, tapas and vino inside or on small patio. Close to all attractions and small outrageous restaurants (i.e. Salinas). I really loved this... more

The Plateros is in an absolutely fantastic location - but really - do not drive there! It is a bit hairy with all the tiny, tiny streets... There is a lovely patio at the front to sit and enjoy a drink in, lovely roman fountain. Great location to walk round to the Mezquita and explore the Juderia. Room is very... more

A lovely little hostal in a fabulous location and pretty setting. We found the staff to be very friendly ( with the exception of the managers who pretty much ignored us - the chef and ber staff made up for that ). Basic and very clean room. Outside bar open quite late so it was lovely to be able to... more

What a smashing little hotel. It really does deserve more than the 1 star ir receives. It's lovely to come back after a meal and be able to sit outside the hotel and have as coffee or a drink. If not sit in the restaurant/ bar and join the locals having a drink. Antonio the owner could not have been... more

Found the Plateros here on TripAdvisor and have to say it really was almost completely spot on. Lovely clean room, with windows out onto the street and the plaza in front. Friendly service and good food in the bar downstairs (try the Migas or Salmorecho). Easy walking distance from the Mezquite and the old heart of the city. Great value... more

My wife and I stayed at the hotel Plateros for 3 nights in September. The hotel was very reasonably priced but the welcome was 5 star. The family who run the hotel were very helpful and accomodating. The location of the hotel is perfect being in La Juderia and very close the Mezquita. The rooms are modest in size and... more

Pleasantly surprised. Room No 9 spotless, well furnished, smart bathroom, comfortable bed with crisp white sheets - lovely. The view from small balcony a bonus, narrow quiet street with site of the Mezquita. 2 night stay approx 90 euros, total and the staff were nice enough to us. Absolutely ideal for everything when visiting this intereresting city. Loads of choice... more

We booked this hotel based on trip advisor reviews. Because it was low season in southern Spain because of the heat (one 5 star hotel we stayed at was 1/4 of the normal price) we got a good deal for 3 nights at this hotel. The thing is the owners weren't pleased at all about this, and let us know... more

The Hotel Plateros was in a great location, very close to the Mezquita and the Jewish quarter. The rooms were simple and clean, but not anything special, but that was fine with us. The staff was quite helpful. We enjoyed staying there. My only complaint - the hotel contains a cafe that has outdoor seating, and some of the patrons... more

Thanks to the tips from the previous reviews, we printed out the map on hand, and had no difficulty in reaching the Plateros from Cordoba station. Antonio, hotel manager, was so ever attentive and spoke a good English. He gave us the perfect directions to the sights we wanted to visit, such as the market in Plaza Corredera. The room... more
