This is a nice change from hotels. The renovation of the guesthouse is very well done. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. James was a wonderful host and we had a delicious breakfast. The local town is picturesque and an easy drive to Arcos, Jerez. more

We selected this guesthouse purely on 2 criteria : it had to be in Cadiz and it had to be well rated on Trip Advisor. Surprise: it is not in Cadiz but in Medina-Sidonia, a charming and lovely little town on the top of a hill in the western andalusian country side, at ... over 40 km away from Cadiz.... more

We stayed at the Casa La Loba for 5 nights. There are three spacious and nicely decorated rooms, all situated around a Spanish style open patio. We had the small one (Toro) for a very reasonable EUR 75 per night, including a healthy & plentiful breakfast. There is a reading room on the main floor with many interesting books and... more

I stayed at this little B&B with my girlfriend for two nights and everything was really really nice. We stayed in three other hotels during our trip and this was the best by far. The house is very well decorated and our room and bathroom were very big and clean. Everything was perfect and James Barr, the man in charge,... more

Casa La Loba is a gem of a place in the lovely hill top town of Medina Sedonia. On arriving you could be forgiven for thinking this was a small unassuming town house when you pull up outside but hidden behind the ordinary front door is a superbly renovated, designed and deceptively large property of first class quality and comfort.... more

Once more we travelled to Andalucia and as in the past we spent 2 nights with James at his delightful B&B. It is an ideal centre for this part of the world. This was our third visit and as rewarding as the others. Our bedroom was clean and fresh, a totally comfy bed with crispy linen and cotton towels. It... more

Really love casa la loba. James has designed his small guest house in a way that ensure that its isn't too intimate. Each room is beautifully decorated and the bathrooms are huge. James is a perfect host and balances being very friendly, hospitable and helpful with not being too familiar making casa la loba a really relaxing place to stay.... more

We spent three nights at Casa La Loba in lovely Medina Sidonia. It was a delight to stay there and we hope to return one day. James Barr, our host was so helpful and gave us advice and information for our visits to the surrounding area, including Cadiz and Jerez.. We stayed at Casa La Loba for one night during our bike tour through Andalucia on 20 June, 2007. We were very impressed with the inn, the services and the owner. The rooms are beautifully arranged with all of the comforts a traveler could need: spacious, private, clean and luxurious. James Barr, the owner and designer of the inn, has... more
