We booked two rooms as we are a family of five and on check-in found that they had actually noted our request for interconnecting rooms. The rooms were lovely, full sea view and large very clean bathrooms. I really could not find any fault with either of them. We booked via Superbreaks and got an excellent deal. The Hotel was... more
My wife and I made this our first stop on a trip around south of spain. I would recommend you get a hire car, as some of the other reviewers have mentioned it is a distance from the nearest airport ( Malaga). Having driven through much of the Costa del Sol, I probably would not waste your time going there... more
My wife and I stayed for a week in Sept 08 and really enjoyed our stay except for the following 1.Hire a car-taxi prices are expensive and it cost us 100 euro one way from Malaga Airport plus tip 2.The price of alcohol is outrageous-7 euro a pint -no thanks 3Abit remote but luxurious in the hotel itself if you... more
This is a hotel that I know really well having stayed there at least a dozen times in the last 3 years. Accordingly, I find some of the recent reviews surprising. First, you need to understand the location. The property is out of town on a thin strip of land between a main road and a small stoney beach. This... more
This hotel is huge: to get to your room from the reception you might need to walk a lot inside this hotel. Some aspects of this hotel are indeed 5stars some other just like an average 3star hotel. The rooms are definitely above average, the bathrooms are incredibly stuffed with showering options and the furniture is nice. What I did... more
This evening is the last night of our holiday, my husband and I booked this hotel based on the write up in various brochures and the fact it was a small luxury hotel of the world. I can honestly say its neither a five star and as for luxury absolutely not. The first day we arrived we had lunch at... more
We stayed at the hotel 2 years ago and since then, it has changed of the worst. The setting is fabulous, the rooms are first class and the potential is huge! The staff are poorly trained and service is very disappointing. Drinks were forgotten, wrong orders sent, lack of attentiveness to our needs. The hotel would not switch on the... more
This hotel is a 5stars, classy and business hotel. Everything was very fine. We found the restaurants to expensive for what you get! 18€ for a club sandwich without french fries and litlle bit of salad... The swimming pool was very cold in october, so you could'nt swim. A litlle beach in front of the hotel. Central to estepona village... more
Location is awful. Motorway directly in front. Nudist camp to one side, very small unattractive beach area with hotel pumping human waste there which flows back. The only remaining side has a pavement which runs out after 2 minutes walk. Gin and Tonic 11.40EUROS. Bored stupid, Estepona is not pretty, just a normal Spanish town with not much to offer... more
