There aren't many budget priced hotels in Malaga, but this was one of the better ones. The hotel claimed to have English-speaking staff but such linguistic skills were scarcely in evidence during our 5 day stay. For this reason the staff came across sometimes as impersonal and perhaps better suited to the business visitor. The room was adequatewith a good en-suite, though overlooking an alleyway which could be noisy some evenings. Everything was clean and tidy but the windows and blinds didn't work properly.
Like many Malaga hotels it was room only and some of the closer cafes and bars looked a bit unsavoury, so we had to walk into town and wait for one of the nicer tea shops to open for breakfast.
The hotel was convenient for the number 19 bus to the airport and bus station. We like exploring by bus and Malaga made a good centre for seeing much of the Costa del Sol, as well as being an interesting city itself.
