I stayed in the Monte Malaga for one night in February 2012 before catching a flight back to the UK the next day. I've stayed here before and should have posted a review at the time, so better late than never ! Truely, a Lovely hotel and one that I would have no hesitation in recommending. I was travelling with... More

My husband and I stayed four nights here for a short battery charging break. Have visited Malaga previously but thought we'd try this hotel having read the reviews on trip advisor. For convenience of commuting to and from the station (Maria Zambrano) this hotel is excellently placed. It is a 5 minute walk (maybe up to 10 with luggage and... More

My wife and I stayed in this hotel on the last night of our first trip to Spain having spent the main part in the Novotel in Seville. We chose it having read the other reviews and we were not dissappointed. Rather than rambling on I will make my comments in what was good and less good. The good: The... More

We stayed here twice, each time for 3 nights, in December 2011. We liked this hotel, particularly because all the staff were very helpful and efficient (and happy to switch between multiple languages!). The hotel is quite new and the rooms are spacious, clean and well equipped, with large comfortable beds. The air con is controllable and works well, or... More

We stayed three nights at the Monte Malaga, in a very comfortable triple room. The room and bathroom were spotless, there was a free safe in the room, and free wifi. The large windows opened over a sea view, which despite the proximity to the road and port, was not too noisy. It takes about 15 minutes to walk into... More

We spent one night at the Monte Malaga at the end of our cruise. It was easy to get to from the docks and was everything we had hoped for with our booking. The room was large and had spectacular views over the docks and we were able to see our ship depart. Breakfast was fantastic with freshly cooked omelets,... More

I just spent a couple nights in the hotel monte malaga and really enjoyed it. Everything in the hotel worked perfectly: internet, air conditioning, front desk, etc. They even let me check out a couple hours late without charging me extra. Even the location worked well for me. It was within 10 minutes walking distance of the train station, and... More

Having read most of the reviews for this hotel I was a little unsure what to expect. I had booked this as a special treat for my husband and it totally lived up to my expectations. As previous reviewers have stated it does have a mixed view -one side lovely sea view and then the slightly industrialised port aspect. But... More

We choose this hotel for its indoor swiming pool because our trip was in december so it was no posibility that we could swim in the sea. And when we arrived at the hotel we were very good impressed because the pool was very big and clean; they also have a SPA zone with finland (finnish) sauna and turkish sauna,... More
