This is a very convenient hotel with a super-helpful receptionist, Patri. We had asked for a room with a window to the outside of the hotel and she put us in room 402 looking directly out on the cathedral. The view was magnificent. She was also extremely helpful when we had some difficulties charging up our (old-fashioned) phone and when she couldn't fix it, directed us to a nearby phone repair shop. The hotel is not cheap and the rooms are small but we got good value on a Sunday and Monday night. Everything is in walking distance and Malaga didn't disappoint with warm sunshine and brightness.

We just came back from Malaga, our sixth visit to this beautiful city. We decided to stay at the ‘Petit Palace’ as the place where we usually stay was full. We were there for four days and this hotel definitely ticked all the boxes. The location first of all, right in the middle of the old quarter with the Cathedral just around the corner, numerous restaurants and cafés close by and loads and loads of shops down the road in Calle Larios. The room was wonderful with two gorgeous balconies, high ceiling and very comfortable beds. Right in the middle of the city and yet very quiet at night. The bathroom was large with a huge mirror and the shower was amazing with many different settings and yet easy to use, nice sets of toiletries too. There are some hotels when you can’t way to go to breakfast in the morning, ‘Petit Palace’ is one of those. The buffet breakfast was beautifully laid up with all different and delicious choices of food and drinks. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The day before we were leaving, we spoke to Rebecca Evans the manager, she was charming and she told us a bit more about the history of the hotel. I totally recommend this hotel for your next trip to Malaga you won’t be disappointed…

This hotel is as central as you get it. Just a short walk to the cathedral, the Picasso museum and the Carmen Thyssen museum. Rooms are ok, good beds and nice bathrooms, and the breakfast is superb. Staff are friendly and helpful. I recommend this hotel.

An excellent hotel which is in a brilliant location to explore the city. Good sized rooms that are immaculately maintained and a cheerful, courteous team who were always available to assist with any questions. A particular note of thanks to Lourdes at reception who provided helpful guidance and recommendations which were invaluable. I strongly recommend this hotel if you are planning a visit to Malaga.

Excellent hotel which does what it says on the tin. Brilliant location, friendly helpful staff, decent breakfast, good price, showers that worked and air conditioning that was not intrusive. We had a quiet room with Cathedral views (403) and it was very quiet. As others have commented some parts of the hotel look a little tired, but it doesn't pretend to be anything than it is- a friendly, stunningly located, decent quality hotel.

The hotel is lovely. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The hotel is in the old town and is so pretty. Our room was fantastic. It was huge, with a great bathroom-with lovely shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and a hairdryer and hand soap- a mini fridge with two bottles of complimentary water. Tea and coffee making facilities and a safe. The beds were comfortable with lots of pillows. We only had breakfast on one day and it was amazing. A huge selection of beautiful fresh food and drinks. The best we've had in hotels we have stayed at. We would definitely recommend this hotel for it's staff, location, rooms and breakfast. We will be back next time we come to Málaga!

We were greeted and checked in by Lourdes. She, as well as the gentlemen who checked us out, are a credit to the hotel. They could teach a lot of reception staff in other hotels how things should be done. The hotel is in a great location. It was quiet and spotlessly clean. The AC, unlike other Spanish hotels at this time of the year, allowed us to cool the room. There is a fridge and a safe in the room. We will be back!

This delightful, stylish boutique hotel is an an unrivalled location just off the prestigious C. Marqués de Larios and the beautiful Pl. de la Constitución. The hotel is very easily accessible from the airport by taxi or a 5 minute stroll from the airport bus stop. The check-in process was speedy, seamless and efficient. Our spacious, comfortable room provided a view of C. Marqués de Larios, but was extremely well soundproofed and quiet. The room had large triple aspect windows, giving it a bright, airy feel. Facilities included a kettle, cups and an ample supply of tea, coffee, milk etc. which were replenished daily. The integral fridge contained a range of drinks and snacks, as well as complimentary water. The bathroom was very spacious, offering complimentary soaps, shower gel and shampoo, large fluffy towels, bathrobes and slippers, a hairdryer and oodles of piping hot water servicing a very spacious power-shower. The room also had hot/cold air conditioning as well as a large free-standing smart TV with a selection of English channels. The breakfast room was spacious and stylish, offering a very wide range of high quality buffet style hot and cold food, bean coffees, teas, freshly squeezed juices. Every member of staff was highly professional, courteous, friendly and helpful. Everything about this wonderful hotel speaks of class and sophistication, yet at very competitive price. Consequently, all future visits to Málaga will now mean staying at the superb Petit Palace Plaza Málaga. Highly recommended without hesitation.

This hotel in terms of lactation could not have been better. Located literally steps away from the main strips where the Malaga lights are. It’s in the heart of the city with everything on your doorstep. When we arrived we were early but check in wasn’t until 2. They allowed us to leave our baggage there and check in later on. The staff were helpful and friendly and we were given a room on the 4th floor. The lift took us straight there and when we opened the door we were surprised to see a set of bunk beds just inside the door. The main part of the room had two singles pushed together. The room was large but in all honesty a little dated. Having said that it was clean and had the little extras that are helpful such as a kettle with tea and coffee as well as shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom plus TV and bottled water. In all honesty the bed was not that comfortable and as much as the room was clean it just felt tired and for the price we paid I would have expected something a little more than basic. That said it did the job for just one night and was in a very good location. The breakfast again was okay plenty of choice from eggs and hot food to cereals and pastries etc. Would I stay again? Probably not because there are so many other hotels to choose from that give a better room for the same money
