The only positive thing about this hotel, was the fact that our room was beautiful and spacious, If you do not play golf this is not the hotel for you, the pool was no bigger than a postage stamp, the loungers had no mattresses on, only a towel, which became very uncomfortable after a while, the food was very well... 2nd visit to the Rio Real and loved it just as much as the 1st time we were there so much so that we are returning in August. Friendly staff, excellent breakfast, spotless rooms, towels, bedding etc. Small & intimate, never crowded. I wouldn't stay at any other hotel whilst in Marbella, only drawback is you need a car.
