Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

Booked this last minute for a decent price. We booked a one bedroom apartment, but I think we were possibly upgraded as there was both a bedroom upstairs and downstairs. We also had two bathrooms and two large balcony’s both upstairs and downstairs. The apartment was gorgeous and huge, pretty clean looking at it….. As it’s out of season everything was closed apart from the indoor pool. You have to book the sauna to use it though. We all really liked staying here and would go back again. I’ve rated it 3 starts due to the smell. The whole apartment smelt like a musty, mouldy, mocky smell. It was worse downstairs. The furniture smelt like an old used furniture shop too when you opened the doors and drawers. At first I thought the cleaners used a dirty mop and it was just the floors. But the sheets on the bed smelt like that too. It’s 15 minutes from Marbella in a taxi/Uber, which was handy.

Really wanted to give this place a better review but many things need improvement. Whilst the pool area is nice the pool tiles were filthy dirty and just needed a good clean. The apartment itself is dated and the cleaning is very poor, mould in the bathroom shower and tiled areas looked like it needed a good scrub. Furniture is dated and needs replacing. Location is ok and the staff were nice. Bed was comfy. I don’t think it would take a lot to make this place a lot nicer.

The hotel was nice and modern and very spacious apartments. And around the pool etc was lovely. It was clean enough however round shower etc looked worn and a bit grubby. They are modern but probably ready for a spruce up. The location wasn't great, not much near it.. The water was an issue. Showers were either freezing cold or boiling hot. In all it was good value for money just a few tweeks needed.

Good space for a family, with a terrace, a balcony, two bedrooms (one on each floor with separate bathrooms). This is a place where you go to hang at their pool with a convenient restaurant, or use as a base for traveling the sourroundings. Car is a must even though it’s possible to walk to the beach and some restaurants.

I honestly doubt that this hotel is following the covid policy as this people doesn’t seems profesional at all... missing towels, dirty bed sheets (for the price paid I think this is the minimum) They call the breakfast buffet but next time I’ll bring my own stuff cos it will obviously fit more in my bag pack I don’t give 1 star cos the hotel has a swimming pool

This is an Apartment style hotel and there's a window on street side. We found our luggage damaged by break-in while we were out on last autumn (Saturday), and we immediately went to the reception with the suitcases and asked whether we needed to report this case to the police, and the instruction that we got from the officer on duty was that we needed to wait until next Monday that you come to the office; We even said to her that we were leaving on next Monday, but the answer from her was the same; On Monday when Boss came to the office, he spoke to us that as we were leaving on that particular day, you would accept the flight ticket, instead of the police report (we have already shared the ticket) and after very long chasing ans indemnity, (6 months).. they came back to me thru an insurance company and proposed us 80$ for our 3 damaged suitcases. We couldn't easily agreeable so request their base of proposal with Experts report. And their last answer from the Boss was "My opinion is very simple, what our insurance says. I think the moment we are going through in Spain and in the world is very bad. We are all in our houses and we do not think of silly problems, there are more important things currently. It is incredible" I will fight for this more. Meanwhile I hope no one else goes through this terrible experience with VIME. Regards, WON

I booked this hotel because it had a heated pool and my children really wanted that. The first day the pool was closed so we had to wait until the next day. When we came to the pool the following morning it was open but it was not warm at all and we all got itching eyes from the chemicals in the water. The following days the pool was still not warm. There is a sauna but you have to pay for it! We didn't know that and were very disappointed. The best thing with this hotel is the gym! It is spacious and has great and modern machines. The hotel room was a duplex with two bedrooms. It was clean but had a funny smell. Nothing special about the room really. It was not very nicely decorated. This is like a time share place where some flats are rented as part of the hotel and others not. One good thing is that you park the car just outside your room. The breakfast was really poor. The hotel is not very good value for money and I would choose another one for the same money next time!

Stayed for 3wks in a villa on this site. Nice outdoor pool and there is an indoor pool if the weather isn't great. Small gym but quite adequate. Short drive from Marbella, Puerto Banus, Estepona. Two supermarkets within walking distance.

After a few days in Marbella, we needed a couple of nights accommodation before our flight home. Having stayed in Elviria a few times, we decided to try the Vime La Reserva. I wouldn't say it's in Marbella. The check in was fast. We got a nice two bed townhouse with parking right outside, making the unloading of cases easy. The downstairs bedroom was a little small but as there were only two of us, we used the upstairs bedroom and bathroom. The downstairs ensuite was small with the washing machine at the back, but adequate. We had a car so ate out at favourite local restaurants. We had breakfast on the last morning for a discounted price. I think about 8 euros and found it well organised and with plenty of choice. We took the car to the nearby supermarket (there are cheaper ones a little further afield) but it is definitely walkable. We were disappointed that the indoor pool and gym opened quite late, but we were on holiday! We would definitely stay again.

When arrived we were given apartments nr 6015,it stank of cigarets so bad that it almost made me sick. The kitchen was not the same as on the pictures, apartments was very dirty, marks on the bed, marks on the switches, wholes in the curtains-probably from the cigarets, dirty curtains, not clean toilet, broken switch and etc. Straight away I went to reception, receptionist gave me another apartment nr 6206, bedroom was okay, but the kitchen is not the same what you see on the picture, kitchen is very old dated, no dishwasher ,the sink was positioned in the corner with the short tap-it makes so uncomfortable to wash the dishes. No oven like it showed on the picture, broken tiles, broken mirror in the bathroom. Toilet that is next to the kitchen stank of strong pee so bad that we couldn’t use it at all. There is no safety box in the apartment, the hotel is not responsible for the value and money objects in metallic not placed in the safety box of the hotel in reception, which cost 3Euro per day. This makes you question the safety of the apartments. The last thing you want is to take all your valuables to reception every time you leave the apartments. No sun-beds on the balcony like it shows on the picture. I think it would be fair to include not only the pictures of the best appartment in the complex but the bad one too so the customers can see what to expect. It was my birthday and I wanted to celebrate in nice place, but I was very disappointed. Definitely not a 4 star hotel. Hope hotel will make improvements, until then I will be choosing different options.
