Our family of four spent three nights at the Puente Romano as part of a group of over 200 people attending a company meeting at the hotel. Overall, we enjoyed the hotel and its services a great deal but that experience was overshadowed by some real security problems. We were housed in two adjacent one bedroom suites which were absolutely... more

Quaint property with nice grounds and attractive pool areas. Rooms are large but not luxurious. Food served at the property was quite good. The beach is not particularly attractive but is as nice as other areas in Marbella. Only problems: slow / sometimes non-functioning in-room wireless. A member of our group experienced a break-in (use the safe). more

I got a nice room (the rooms are small blocks of apartments in the lush garden grounds) at a hefty price circa 250 euros a night. You can walk to the beaches and to Banus and Marbella (a few miles). My room had wifi so I could use my Ipod touch and laptop. This is a clean, well maintained hotel.... more

I have stayed at the hotel a number of times now both in standard rooms and executive suites and I have to say that I simply cannot find fault! If its good enough for Posh and Becks and Princess Di its good enough for me! The staff have always been fantastic and the whole resort has a great unpretentious but... more

This year my annual work conference was held at Hotel Puente Romano. The hotel is on the exclsuive 'Golden Mile', roughly mid-way between Marbella & Puerto Banus, with each being around a 7 Euro taxi ride away. Puento Romano is a large resort, consisting of around 30 small accomodation blocks set in nice gardens. Most rooms overlook the gardens and... more

The Puento Romano is a lif\ttle tired, old fashioned in its facilities yet the gardens, the location, the staff and the food make up for the rest of the deficiencies. I am sick and tired of too perfect architecture with buddahs and asain serene music. This is a five star antitide to it.... more

We stayed here for 4 nights at the end of September 2007, and had a gorgeous room overlooking the gardens. However, some rooms near us obviously looked out, and would have heard, the air conditioning units in what looked like a covered garage. Only the poshesh suites overlook the sea apparently, but I wouldn't let that put you off cos... more

Having spent the last few years travelling and vacationing in Asia, I found the Puente Romano hotel shockingly poor. The staff is not so much unfriendly as they are incompetent. A simple lunch at the beautiful seaside restaurant Suite, can take over two hours as the staff runs around like headless chickens. Every meal at the hotel, no matter which... more

We stayed here after our flight from New York to recuperate from the jet leg and rest at the beach before driving through Andalucia. Our arrival was not great. The receptionist was not friendly and when we were told at 4PM that our room wasn't ready after having traveled ALL NIGHT "Well it is only 4 PM" I had to... more
