Quaint property with nice grounds and attractive pool areas. Rooms are large but not luxurious. Food served at the property was quite good. The beach is not particularly attractive but is as nice as other areas in Marbella. Only problems: slow / sometimes non-functioning in-room wireless. I got a nice room (the rooms are small blocks of apartments in the lush garden grounds) at a hefty price circa 250 euros a night. You can walk to the beaches and to Banus and Marbella (a few miles). The Puento Romano is a lif\ttle tired, old fashioned in its facilities yet the gardens, the location, the staff and the food make up for the rest of the deficiencies. I am sick and tired of too perfect architecture with buddahs and asain serene music. This is a five star antitide to it.... more
