Booked in here half way through our holiday after giving up on the previous plave. We wanted a bit of luxury and civilisation and certainly got that. A nice quiet hotel with a great Pool in a quiet part of Marbella. Howver, all the bars are within a stunning walk along the beach. The room had a huge balcony and... more

Im just back from the Beach Club where i stayed with my wife and 2 young children. We stayed in a 2 bedroomed apartment ( it was the last one available last August when we booked). I can now see why there in high demand. The apartment was huge covering 2 floors and with 5 seperate safe balconys. It could... more

The Hotel Sultan Club is a great place to stay in Marbella. It is one of the so-called apart-hotels; a terrible name but it accurately describes the accommodation. I stayed in a double room with en suite bathroom, a living room leading on to a balcony and a small kitchen with a washing machine. The room was very clean, the... more

My boyfriend and I first stayed at this hotel in March 2006 and liked it so much we returned the following year. The 1 bed apartment are huge with balcony from lounge and bedroom. Only 5 minutes walk to the seafront with lots of restaurants, shops and a supermarket. We found the transfer costs v expensive so it was cheaper... more

This hotel exceeded our expectations. It was more than a hotel, as it was raining a few days in Marbella, we had no qualms spending the day in our apartment lounge. Extremely spacious, cleaned everyday after we were ready to leave. Front Desk staff extremely helpful. Only negative is a bit far from main centre. more

Celebrated my 30th and New Year in Marbella in the Sultan Club with my husband and immediate family. We stayed here the year before and once again it was fabulous. It now needs a bit of upgrading, showing signs of ware in the kitchens and bathrooms but still a good base to stay in Marbella in the winter season. We... more

Just spent 11 days at the sultan with our 8 month old baby. We did order a cot and was told it would cost 10euros. On arrival it turned out to be 10euros per day plus taxes, could have bought a cot for less. Parking was extra too at another 10euros per day in a underground car park, which was... more

Family of two adults and two children aged 7 & 4. The breakfasts were buffet style. If you wanted any hot food you would have to get it at 8.30am when the kitchen opened. No hot plates used so any time after this the food would be cold. Service in the restaurant not particularly good. We were checking out early,... more

Great location, easy access to beach and wonderful rooms and maid service.Unfortunately, all, except one,of the reception staff need to go on an anger management course--unhelpful,discourteous and one was damned rude.A shame but easily resolved because we will not be returning. more

Stayed at the Sultan Club for the first part of my Easter vacation with family and friends. When we first arrived we were informed we had rooms on different floors but after explaining the situation the hotel reassigned us rooms opposite each other on the same floor. The rooms themselves are very spacious, as were the balconies, although they didn't... more
