We stayed at this hotel on half board for 8 very enjoyable days, partly based on comments from previous reviews. Having spent some time at another Sol/Melia hotel nearby we were also aware of the great location. The staff were really friendly and helpful and most had a reasonal grasp of English. On occasions I attempted to speak in Spanish... more

Have just returmed from 10 days at this hotel. The location is excellent, all rooms have a sea view. The food was very good, with a large choice of hot and cold dishes which were continually being replenished, so if you go down for meals towards the end of the session you get the same choice as the people who... more

This hotel has a great location with only a service road between it and the beach. We had a junior suite with bedroom and separate sitting room and a very large balcony overlooking the sea. The weather was cold 10 - 12 degrees C and very windy the whole week and almost no sun. The staff at the hotel were... more

I booked this hotel after checking all the traveler feedback on the web and it sounded great. Sure enough it was all we wanted - quiet - no yobos yelling all night and tossing beer cans: a gorgeous balcony view of the sea: clean, large room, the best location for the beach in the whole place! Champagne for breakfast, Foie... more

This is a great place to stay out of season. Every room has a balcony with sea view, which is one of the best features and doesn't seem to be given great emphasis by the hotel group. Hotel facilities, the buffet breakfast and service generally are well worthy of the 4-star rating. The swimming pool looks a bit small, but... more

Just back from a great weekend at the hotel and, having chosen it on the strength of Trip Advisor reviews I thought I had better report back. We had a half board " Sol Melia Getaway " deal which was terrific value for money at 140 euros for 2 nights. The hotel was well looked after, not that busy because... more

Stayed here as part of a tour. Nice clean hotel with a great location. Nice terrace with View. Room had Twin beds pushed together. Management shut down Air conditioner at night. Gym was not much of a gym. Remember to get your room made up you must put out a card requesting that the room be made up. more

Torremolinos is 12 km from Malaga. Malaga is pretty to see for a few hours (e.g. the castle on the hill), but not good for beaches. Torremolinos is a pretty, quiet beach town. Enough people so that it’s not dead, but not so many that you don’t have personal space on the beach. This hotel is fantastic. Every room has... more

Stayed at the Melia Costa Del Sol for 7 nights starting Sept. 17. We stayed at this hotel before during 2003. Some comments are shown below. 1) The cost of the taxi from the Malaga Airport to the hotel was 16 Euro--fixed price. 2) We did upgrade to a junior suite. Has a separate living room and a 45 foot... more

We visit the Costa del Sol three or four times a year and decided to try this hotel because of the location which is perfect for the beach and shops. On arrival we found the reception very efficient and our request of high rise with sea view fulfilled. The rooms are well equipped of a reasonable size but with two... more
