We have stayed here twice in two years, both times in October. Lovely weather, nice size rooms, a little dated perhaps but are you there to check closely at the decor or to go outside and find the sun ? The food is great, loads of choice daily, you can even start your breakfast with free champagne ! If you... more

Had booked a short break to Benalmadena, on arrival at our hotel we were told they had no room for us and we would be staying at Sol Aloha Puerto for the night. On arrival we thought the hotel looked very nice though were disappointed we hadnt been able to stay in our chosen hotel. We had arrived at night... more

I have to say I was overall pleased with my stay at the Sol Aloha Puerto. The location is great, the food is good and the rooms are nice. But I wish I knew they had 4 Blocks and that some of the rooms don't get the sun. We were given a room in Block 2 facing the hotel entrance... more

the hotel was very nice and the staff were always ready to help. we had some problems with the doors and they were there in a flash to fix it. it is 2 mins from the beach and the areas have shops and supermarket nearby. The room was very big but only one drawback, you can hear some activities from... more

Just returned from 2 weeks, brilliant location, brilliant views either side of mountains and ocean.Minutes walk to the marina which had a brilliant choice of dining.Hotel experience was great, lovely spacious rooms, excellent choice for breakfast.Only thing that was annoying was the sun loungers, very hard to get one, towels on them from early morning and sometimes nobody turning up to use them.Beach is probably the... more

We have just returned from a stay at the hotel after our booking with the Las Arenas Hotel was moved there due to the Las Arenas being overbooked. I was very concerned having carefully chosen the Las Arenas which has four and a half points on trip advisor and being moved to this hotel with three and a half points.... more

The hotel is good, but a little dated. If you go half board the food is good but nothing to shout about, basic food. Rooms are clean, qulte large and most rooms have a sea view. The location is one of the best things about this hotel, some nice walks along the front in both directions, and the beach is only... more

First things first; location is spot on, right on the beach and a minute to the fab marina. But at the back or front should I say of the hotel there wasnt much apart from a couple of bars and a shop. This is a hotel mainly catering for the over 50s who stay sometimes for a month at a... more

This was our second stay at the Aloha Puerto, and again we enjoyed this hotel. The hotel is perfectly located next to the beach and the marina. Unlike a previous review, we didn't feel it had gone downhill at all and was just how we remember from our previous stay 3 years earlier. Previous reviewers have commented on this hotel... more
