A small little local hotel that accepts cash only. This place is a two star, but was comfortable, clean, and had a good AC (needed in August in Spain). This hotel was amazing! It was gorgeous, clean, had a great location, and a very friendly staff. I would definitely stay here again. It was a very short walk to the shops, restaurants, and beach. I have just returned again from the Costa Del Sol where i stayed in the Hotel Residencia Miami advertised as being in Torremolinos but is actually in the La Carihuela beach area between Torremolinos and Benalmadena Marina. we found the Miami clean with adequate essential amenities about what we expected from, a hostal most people were staying only for a night or two, for a short time stay OK. Garden was lovely and ideal when very hot as was well sheltered. In an ideal situ for buses, beach and local shops in carihuela. We would stay again... more

My friends and I occupied 4 different rooms. All were fine. Mine was the smallest, with no balcony, but still a comfortable bed and usually hot water in the shower. I honestly do not understand why some people have given such bad ratings for this hotel! This was exceptional value, we only paid around £15 per person per night and got quite a nice lovely medium sized room with balcony overlooking the pool side and gardens (which are beautiful - like your own little tropical garden.).
