We stayed here for a week in August. The hotel is really big and we were all inclusive, which I wasn't sure about. The reception was large and staff extremely professional, we had 2 seperate rooms next door to each other and the views were excellent of both the sea and a side view of the pool. It was a... more

we wanted some sun for a couple days and liked the look of this hotel. it has beautiful pools although they were too cold to get into! and is right on the beach. its also barely ten minutes from the airport, so possibly gettin a taxi yourself could be cheaper than the hotel bus? we got two beds instead of... more

Went to the Sol Principe in the first week in July 2009 on a half board basis, travelling with a 4 year old. The main selling point being the idea that is is a "Flintstones" hotel, more on that later. Travelled from Glasgow. Taxi fare was 20 euros for the 15 minute ride although you can get a train from... more

those were the days when sol principe was fantastic. i have been going to this hotel for 15 years and seen how it has changed. now it lets itself down on most things. this year it has gone up to a 4 star, but what have we gained? fruit juice is of a better quality and the breakfast table is... more

Good standard hotel on the seafront. Facilities and rooms very good. Godd range of activities and good spin class. Really poor service. Reception constantly busy requiring 10 minutes wait to get simple questions answered. Staff did not enforce queuing, seemed happy to serve whoever went to the front of the queue and it was up to me to point out... more

Have just returned from a 5 night break having stayed at the Sol Principe. The reason I chose the hotel was the first class reviews it had recived on Trip Advisor. ( I notice it has lost a few ranking places in the interim!). We booked to stay on half board on the basis of the weak pound against the... more

I booked this hotel as a last minute mini-break for myself & my partner as we were in desperate need of some sunshine! Our main aim was to relax in warm sunshine with a pretty and spacious pool to cool off in and refreshments available near the pool. I chose Sol Principe primarily because of the pool and the good... more

My husband and I travelled with our one year old son on 15th August and stayed for 1 week. We booked the flight/hotel through First Choice and were both very happy with our decision. The transfer from the airport took just 10 minutes and on our arrival at the hotel we were pleasantly surprised with the look of the place.... more
