The hotel was easy to find, just opposite Mcdonalds and is well positioned for access to San Miguel shopping and the beach. We were expecting basic and that's what we got. We wouldn't have minded but the beds were those metal folding camp beds with no support - we both had bad backs at the end of the week. On... more

The front desk clerk woke us up at midnight (we had to be up at 6am for a flight the next morning) to tell us that the credit card we'd given when we made the reservation two months earlier had been rejected. He insisted that we come down right that minute to give him a new card. He said nothing... more

Went here for Xmas 2006. This is a little gem. Ask for a room on the top floor, all refurbished with new bathrooms. We had a terrac that went halfway round the hotel. The bathroom had a 10 jet shower and was all new. Place was spotless. The food was fine (half board) and plenty of it. The maid was... more

My husband and I have just spent a week here from 31st Dec till 7th Jan. We found the hotel more than adequate for the price we paid which was only £234 for half board between us. OK its not the "Ritz" but we didnt pay that much. The room was basic, but clean and spacious, the staff lovely, food OK. In... more

Stayed in this hotel the last week of July 2005 and was generally disapointed with this characterless establishment. The bathroom was clean but quite smelly and the room was sparsely furnished with no character attall! There were two single beds that were adequate and a balcony overlooking the junction of a busy main road with Ave Mantiales which was good... more

All hotels have their good and bad points. The Adriano has a number of things in its favour, including the location (close to main square and railway station), good sized bathrooms, balconies, price and airconditioning/TV. Against, there were the thin walls, even thinner towels, cigarette smoke odour (no non smoking option offered), substandard mattresses, and glass hot house for a... more

Although not 'on the Waterfront' - this Hotel is nicely situated on the corner of the Main square of the Town...the little street it faces has it's own charm, with bars, taxi rank and restaurants just outside the front doors. To even sit on the balcony and sip a drink after a walk in the Sun is enjoyable, watching the... more
