We booked this room for a Sunday night for two nights on Expedia, last minute. There were no arrival instructions (we were aware this wasn't a hotel with reception) given to us by Expedia. When we arrived at the address, there was a note on the door saying to call a local number to pick up keys. (We had given our approx arrival time the Expedia booking notes and arrived as expected). The man (who did speak English thankfully) apologised profusely, but said the person who had the key would not arrive for 20 minutes, and the apartment had to be cleaned. This sounds like it was a one-off and they were very friendly people.

Maybe sounds worse than it was, but we went and got a coffee, and came back to a beautiful, sparkling and shiny new one bedroom apartment for 35 Euros per night. What a steal.

The apartment had a washing machine, fridge, microwave and stove, with dishes/cooking utensils. The bathroom was a shower only. The large room was a queen bed with dressers... more
