We are two Belgian couples and Cortijo Valavero was adviced to us by English friends. So, we booked for 7 days and...it was absolutely magnificent !
The "casa rural" is an old olive oil mill very nice restored by Vanessa, the hostess. The rooms are very nice, clean and fully equiped. Vanessa is a very good cook and most of the vegetables and fruits are from own garden.
But...most impressive are the views, silence... The property is situated in a nature reserve. You eat, drink, sunbath under centuries old olive- and curk oak trees. There is also a fantastic swimming pool with fantastic views on the sea an mountains.
