we stayed at the carlos v in feb...a snowy time of the year in granada but much less crowded than peak times which was good. we were not cold in the carlos v as there as individual air con/heating units in the room, ample hot water (v snazzy shower/bathroom) and hot drinks available from a little bar in the reception.... more

A small one star hotel with fantastic rooms. We had a suite (£50.00 a night) with 4 poster, balcony, jacuzzi bath. The staff were very helpful and it was 10 minutes walk upto the Alhambra. You could get coffee pastries, juice for breakfast but we went to a great bar with very friendly staff just across the square. more

Don't let the non-descript facade of the building put you off. Inside the decor is smart and the fact that it has recently been renovated is obvious. The free internet is a very nice touch.
