We made a tour of Andalusia with our two older children and this hotel was the only one we booked directly not using bookings.com or expedia. It showed up beeing the biggest mistake. These guys quote you a price without VAT ( its 7% in Spain, but anyhow..) and trey charge you for breakfast 9,- Euros a person for literally... more

Glorious building. Excellent location. Helpful staff. Get a street map of Granada to help with hotel directions. Park car and use frequent buses - 100 mts to bus stop. Breakfast adequate but I would rather be at this hotel than some luxury one serving a full English! more

It doesn't matter what your Satnav or the hotel direction say, you are going to get lost, but bare with it, the hotel is superb value. Great location, great value, excellent staff. You cant go wrong with the location, its just where you need to be, parking right at the hotel which is of a premium in the old city.... more

My husband and I just came from a 1 night stay at the Casa Morisca on our 1 week trip through Spain. This is a lovely boutique hotel with the charm of the historic nature of this 15th century building. The room we had was an inward facing room - with a window out to the inner courtyard. The room... more

My husband and I stayed at the Casa Morisca for two nights in April. After a harrowing drive to the hotel through narrow streets filled with pedestrians, we were relieved to find that there was a parking space saved for us just outside the door. We checked in without issue. The front desk staff was professional/perfunctory. We stayed in a... more

We booked a double exterior room which does cost a bit more, especially with the pound so weak against the euro but it was worth every penny! We travelled to Granada by train from Madrid - which is the best way to travel - and got a taxi from the station to the hotel without any trouble. Private cars will... more

A friend and I have just returned from a 3 day trip to Granada and picked Casa Morisca based on earlier reviews on Tripadvisor. We were not disappointed. If the pound was stronger against the euro then it would have been a bargain, however, in the current economic climate it was rather expensive - but well worth it. We had... more

We just come back from spending 3 nights at the Casa Morisca Hotel. The Hotel is a small boutique establishment with a very well preserved typical Andalusian architecture from the XV century. It’s extremely well located, we could see the Alahmbra from the window and the typical neighborhood of the Albaicin is just behind the hotel. The room was beautiful,... more

I really liked this place a lot. It's at the far end of town, in the old part of the city, with a view of the Alhambra. It's such a quaint place to stay and you can tell that much effort was made in maintaining the original structur and design of the building. Upon arriving, the man at the front... more

We stayed three nights at the Casa Morisca in September 2008. The hotel is located in the Alabacin district of the city, on a hill facing the Alhambra. On entering the hotel, you are greeted with a fantastic Moorish style courtyard with fountains etc. We arrived late in the evening, and the hotel receptionist was very helpful and provided maps... more
