I stayed here in September based on the good reviews on the site however it was a mistake. I would recomment people to stay in this hostel while in Granada as it is in the city so you do not waste time in searching places. Positive point is them having English speaking people at reception so no problem for international people. It is moreover a homely place. The owner is a nice gentle elderly man with a smiling... more
Well this review has been a long time coming from me..... I have been staying in Hostal AB every month now for the last year. My partner lives in Granada and I have found Hostal AB an excellent base for my monthly trips. The Hostal is a lovely family run establishment, the staff is extremely friendly and always on hand... more
Pro: Self-service hostal, no need to deal with the landlords. Con: There is no in-room wifi. The kitchen is somewhat dirty. A little far away from la Alhambra, but still tolerable. more
This lovely hostel is situated perfectly in the city of Granada. It is only a 10 minute bus ride away from the Alhambra and only a 5-10 minute walk into the city centre to the cathedral and the Albayzín (old quarter). Nice quiet hostel with pretty clean kitchen and bathroom. No towels provided, but sheets were. Very friendly staff and in a pretty quiet area (although some noise can be heard at night for the light sleepers), but very close to most monuments. Great value for the price and great for low budget travelers. Must book through website. more
Hostal AB was a very nice little hostal with very easy access to the city centre and all monumonts such as the Alhambra. The staff are very friendly and are able to give out as much information as possible about the city if clients require it. This hostel was great. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. It was well situated near the city centre with easy access to all monuments including the Alhambra. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful in giving information. I would definately recommend this hostel to others. more
