From the moment we walked in the door, we had a great feeling about this place. It is in a great position to walk to many of the attractions and restaurants. The check in service was exceptional. We were pleasantly reminded that there are indeed people working in the service/hospitality industry who genuinly care about their clients and are keen... more

We stayed here at the end of a 3 city trip in May. I noticed on a previous review a comment about the helpful lady on reception. If it was the lady when we visited she should win an award. A bright sunnt disposition and extremely helpful. She even tried in vain to see if she could get us tickets... more

Arrived and due to the lack of visitors we were up graded to the best room in the house. Small but absolutly fantastic. The staff could not have been more friendly. They help us arrange our trips and book taxis. Leave the hotel and turn left and left again and you arrive at the mini bus, 3 minutes from the... more

The lady on the desk here was one of the most helpful people I have come across. She booked our Alhambra tickets for us in advance (I had read that they would do this for us) after I emailed the hotel, she had very good recommendations for eating and drinking and shopping in Granada, and she generally made a fairly... more

Using Tripadvisor we choosed this hotel for our trip in Granada. To be honnest, we have nothing else but some good comments to make about La Puerta de las Granada. First, the location is terrific, on the street leading to the Alhambra. We were scared at first that I could be to crowdy and noisy, but not at all, it's... more

For the cheap price (70 euro a night), we found this hotel to be more than perfect. They booked our Alhambra tickets first, then they upgraded our room to the top floor on the street with a spectacular view of the Alhambra because the hotel had vacant rooms. The staff is made of cute professional ladies. There is free internet,... more

We just stayed at this hotel a couple of weeks ago and were quite pleased. It is an excellent location and the staff were quite friendly (with someone at the front 24 hours, which is helpful!). The room itself was big enough - we were on the first floor facing the street in a Superior. It was nice to have... more

This hotel is situated right off of Plaza Nuevo so there are many choices for restaurants and shops. It was very easy to find. It is a simple 20 minute bus ride from Granada's main bus terminal. if you are not happy taking the 25 minute walk - up hill - to the Alhambra, there are many buses that can... more

Great little Hotel. Little being the operative word, the rooms are tiny, so small in fact , you have to stack your suitcases on top of each other , just inside the door. I haven't seen a room this small for a long time. The bathrooms were miniscule, especially for my 6' 4" husband. But that said it was a lovely... more
