Hostal Consul is just 5 minutes walking from Plaza Bib-Rambla or Plaza Nueva. Really well situated. The room was large, with a private bathroom, clean, facing a inner "patio" (thus very quiet), with air conditioned and TV. Not so bad at all, but don't expect any particular feature, everything is basic. The price is convenient as well!
The only negative feature was parking! The area is full of narrow one-way streets where finding a parking is a tough matter!
Anyway, if you're looking for a basic, clean and cheap I really suggest it! Better if you're travelling by train! more
