My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights during Holy Week 2009 The location is great- you can walk to all the sights. The rooms are clean and spacious and the beds are very comfortable, there is no meal service, but there are great restaurants all around the area. We loved it , On Easter Sunday we came down... more

We spent 2 nights in "Quarto dorado" room in Hostal Lima Granada: very well positioned Hotel in the heart of Granada (in a central, but silent and safe street);our room was nice and perfectly clean, recently renewed, with beautiful forniture and a big LCD TV. Highly recommended. more

At first glance, this appears to be a wonderful hotel. The reception is friendly, the room and bathroom are nice, and all seems well. But upon closer inspection, this is not the case. To begin with, we found that one of the pillows in our room was dirty and had someone else's hair on it. Since it was late, my... more

Forgive me for repeating probably everything written before this, but honest to God, I don't think you can beat this place. The owners, while not great with English, are so friendly and helpful, and are visibly proud of their establishment. It's very, very old, but you'd never know by the detail they put into their rooms -- immensely comfortable beds,... more

MariCarmen is the human equivalent of the sun. She speaks no English (although her charming husband is fluent) and we speak no Spanish, but when she greeted us and showed us to our small, exquisitely clean double room, we knew we were going to love Granada. Good air conditioning. The quiet block has a grocery shop at one end and... more

Well-located in a quiet street in central Granada, handy for tapas and some of the city's loveliest sites. Obliging and friendly owners, even after I woke them up to catch the early Alhambra visit. The room's are basic but perfectly comfortable. Lima's real charm lies in the traditional Andalucian styling throughout, with the odd idiosyncratic twist. Fantastic value for money... more

My friend and I stayed here for 3 nights during Holy Week 2009 and loved it. We were in a double room for 42 euros/night. The location is great- you can walk to all the sights. There is a great tapas place right across the street, Cuadros. The rooms are very uniquely decorated. The staff is very friendly. Very recommended.... more

This is a lovely place, right in the heart of Granada. We stayed in suite Venus Y Martes. The rooms of the hostal have a style and character all of their own. They do not have a congruent style. Far from it. In our room, there was rag rolling on two walls, and a stone effect on the other two.... more

We stayed at this hotel expecting great things given reviews we had read. While our room was clean and we had three beds, we had a room with interior windows, which both allowed noise in and allowed noise out (we were chastised twice during our stay for being too loud). Also, there was only enough hot water for ONE short... more

My fiancee and I stayed at Hostal Lima for three nights in July, 2008. We reserved in advance through the owner's website (just google it) and, based on the price, were expecting only basic quality and comfort. We were ultimately very pleasantly surprised at the immaculate quality of this fine boutique hotel and of the exceptional service of the owner... more
