I stayed in hostal Lima with my boyfriend. We had the reviews here and gave it a try. We were definitely not disappointed - well exceeding our expectations! It is my favourite place now :-) 1. The location is excellent as it's nearby to the main plazas where you can get buses to alhambra or albayzin area. 2. We stayed... More

We were here for 2 nights in Nov 2011. Took taxi from the Granada bus station, praised the taxi driver for getting to the hostal without any hassle. Hostal is located at the very small road (alley) and it's very quite at night. A convenience store just steps away, very handy if you want to get water, finger food. Few... More

We stayed here for 3 nights over Christmas and really liked it. On Christmas night we came back to our (small but perfectly proportioned!) room to find a mini bottle of cava chilling next to some traditional Spanish Christmas sweeties, which was lovely. My only complaint would be that the aircon unit didn't really generate enough heat so the room... More

I was recommended to Hostal Lima after failing to get a room at a nearby hostel. I stayed here for one night and had an absolutely wonderful stay in Granada. As noted by other reviewers, the booking process was very interesting. The email came in Spanish. With Google translation, I was able to reply in English with the necessary information... More

A family business, where everyone worked hard. Different rooms, with different prices, common or luxury, the price difference approx. 10 euro/ night. We had a luxury room where it felt we were accommodated in a castle. The hall is decorated with armors, wooden statues, stained-glass. Breakfast included various types of food just like at a 5 star hotel, and it... More

We spent two nights here ... a lovely room on the second floor which had brass beds, lovely linens and a little balcony overlooking the street. We were concerned we would hear street noise as there were some bars nearby -- but it was actually very peaceful at night. The breakfasts are very nice ... great cappucino, breads, cold cuts,... After failing to secure a book at the nearby Hostal Rodri we we were recommended to stay at Hostal Lima just a few doors away in the same street. The booking process was interesting as I needed to use google to translate my booking from English to Spanish and vice versa the return emails which were in Spanish. Carmen met... More

Thank you Manolo and Carmen for making our 3 nights' stay with you the most memorable my husband and I had during our 3 weeks in Spain. The room that we had was beautifully decorated and quite spacious, though the bathroom is a little small. The breakfast was sumptuous with a very very generous spread. Manolo himself served all the... More

The hostal lima is a bit quirky but the owners are very friendly and hardworking. They serve up a fantastic breakfast, included in the very good value price. The rooms are quite small but adequate and when we had no hot water, they fixed the problem immediately, can't ask for more. The bed was very comfy and the location is... More

After slightly nerve racking drive through narrow streets of Granada we arrived to this hostal.Meeting Manolo and Carmen, who are wonderful hosts ,takes the edge of previous driving experience quickly off. Manolo and Carmen were helpful to us in any possible way. They were very warm ,sincere and friendly. Our room was quite small .. but again we came there... More
